Goodfellas – Neighborhood Club opens doors to recover Lisbon’s neighborhood gatherings
New restaurant in Pedrouços is a meeting point for families, friends, and neighbors
Lisbon has just gained a new and distinctive space that promises to become the meeting point of the neighbourhood and revive the spirit of old neighbourhood gatherings. Goodfellas – Neighborhood Club has just opened its doors in Pedrouços, “at the feet” of Restelo and just a few meters from the river, to bring together neighbours, families, and friends who love sports, in a relaxed and fun environment.
Located at the Clube Sportivo de Pedrouços, Goodfellas – Neighborhood Club was designed to be a “home” away from home and a place where everyone can have fun and plan to meet. Adjacent to the club’s soccer field, the restaurant invites long days dedicated to sports, late afternoon matches among friends, snacks at sunset, or Sundays with family accompanied by a traditional Portuguese stew.
With over 90 seated places indoors, Goodfellas has several rooms and four televisions where the best of national and international sports is broadcast daily. The spacious terrace with 50 seats ensures the ideal space for outdoor meals and for children to play, with menus dedicated to the little ones and, on weekends, entertainers to entertain them. Animals are welcome in this inclusive space where everyone has a place. Free parking, both inside and outside the venue, seals the irresistible proposal to visit this new space.
The decor recreates the spirit of a true neighbourhood club, with the atmosphere of a sports bar, where bench coaches and fans can celebrate the victories of their favourite teams in good company, without losing the comfort of a family-friendly and welcoming space. And because a true Neighborhood Club is not just made of good meals and sports, Goodfellas also focuses on a packed agenda of entertainment that promotes socializing among everyone. Fado nights, karaoke, live music, and DJ sets promise to bring new life to this neighbourhood and welcome the local community.
The different rooms and indoor and outdoor environments of Goodfellas make this new restaurant the ideal location for organizing group lunches and dinners, private events, birthdays, fairs, friendly tournaments, and other events that invite socializing. Between 3 PM and 7 PM, the space invites digital nomads and everyone who works remotely to make Goodfellas a meeting and coworking space.
With a kitchen open throughout the day, in tune with the life of each neighbour, Goodfellas‘ menu was designed to please all tastes, young and old, and includes dishes ranging from traditional snacks to share to the best of fire cooking, including wood-fired pizzas and iconic burgers.
In the snack section, highlights include Crispy Shrimp with Tartar Sauce, Mini Picanha Sandwiches on Homemade Bolo do Caco, and Alheira Croquettes, ideal for sharing and enjoying with a cold beer. The Truffle Mushroom Risotto, traditional Bitoque, and Pork à Alentejana with Clams and Coriander are some of the other options on the menu that join the famous “Aì Liotta” Burger, made in brioche bread with 180g of aged beef and a selection of pizzas such as Funghi & Tartufo with truffle oil and parmesan shavings.
Open from Tuesday to Sunday, Goodfellas – Neighborhood Club is the newest space of the Suspeitos do Costume Group, which also owns the Catch Me Restaurant and Bar and O Bom o Mau e o Vilão Bar, both in Lisbon.
