“Monte Clérigo”, by Luís Campos, won the Jury Prize – Film of the Year. This picture follows a teenager who spends his summer working in a forest watchtower, indifferent to the immigrant workers of the greenhouses that surround him. Looking for a lost watch, this teenager ends up on the side of the invisible. A reflection on working conditions and an increasingly daily reality. Pedro Laginha, Filipe Amorim, Gonçalo Almeida, Kelly Bailey, Aayush Kandel, Paula Lobo Antunes, and Pedro Pernas are part of the cast.

The winner of the Public Prize was “The Color of Freedom”, by Julio Pereira. This documentary starts from the story of José Pedro Soares, a former political prisoner who was detained and tortured by PIDE between 1971 and 1974, and contextualizes Portugal and its social reality at that time, through the memories of former political prisoners, historians, journalists and artists. “The Color of Freedom”, which obtained more votes among the audience that attended the film sessions, is a message of struggle and different forms of resistance that are urgent to know and preserve.

During the journey, the two talk about the future and the issues that plague them. Developed at the School of Theater and Cinema, “Místida” has interpretations by Bia Gomes and Welket Bungué.
