Laura Pausini Announces World Tour, Coming to Lisbon in 2026
Laura Pausini has just announced her grand return with three new releases: a new single, a new album, and the “Io Canto World Tour,” which will stop at the MEO Arena on October 22, 2026.
Tickets will be available this Friday, September 12, at 10 a.m., at everythingisnew.pt and at the usual locations.
The world tour kicks off on March 27, 2026, in Pamplona, Spain, and will visit Spain, Latin America, the United States, Europe, and Brazil, before returning to Italy for major stadium and arena shows.
“Live shows are perhaps the most important part of any project for me,” explains Laura Pausini. “The true goal of every release: the audience. This year, I’ll try to visit as many cities as possible and present a show that represents me 100%. I’m working hard to find the right stage, the right lineup, and the right production to capture this new chapter of my music. I consider it a blessing to have a job that gives such a great return, and that’s why I’m putting myself at the service of the public again. For me, more than just a schedule, it’s a meeting with each fan who will come sing with me.”
In addition to the greatest hits of her career, Laura will perform songs from her new album, Io Canto 2, to be released in the coming months by Warner Music. The first single, “La Mia Storia Tra Le Dita,” a reinterpretation of Gianluca Grignani’s 1994 classic, will be released on September 12th in four versions—Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and French—accompanied by a music video directed by Gaetano Morbioli.
This project follows in the footsteps of the global success of the cover album Io Canto, released in 2006, honouring the greatest Italian hits, presenting them across borders. It was a way of thanking her for her first Grammy Award, which led to her triumphant first concert at San Siro the following year. She was the first woman to achieve this incredible milestone, on the night of June 2, 2007, in front of 70,000 people.
“After my first American Grammy, I decided to thank my homeland by bringing the Italian music I love most to the world, and that’s what I did,” says Laura Pausini.
“Io Canto 2, which, unlike the first, will also be released in Spanish with the songs I love most by Latin artists, represents for me the epitome of my profession, paying homage to the songs of my past idols as one of the greatest forms of respect, placing myself not in the foreground, but at the service of the song—and doing so with pride.”
With over 75 million records sold, winner of a Grammy, Latin Grammy, Golden Globe, and Oscar and Emmy nominations, Laura Pausini is the most international Italian artist of all time and returns to the stage to celebrate more than 30 years of her career with an unmissable show.
