NOS Wi-Fi and MEO Wi-Fi are services that are provided by the operators’ own customers, since they are broadcast by their routers. However, it is the operators who provide the service.
The NOS Wi-Fi is being phased out until the 13th of August 2021, from this date the service will no longer be available, you can read on the service’s information page.
NOS Wi-Fi Hotspots was the largest internet service outside the home. Through the operator’s hotspots, customers had free internet access in thousands of locations in mainland Portugal and the islands.
