AGORA by “Entre Aspas is presented in Lisbon on February 3rd

B.Leza Clube

“Entre Aspas returns to the stages of Lisbon, on February 3rd, 30 years as a band, 20 years without releasing new albums and, at the end of 2023, the album AGORA is released by Rastilho.

An album that has, however, a very special characteristic: it brings together 10 songs, 9 of which are original, which were stored for 20 years at the bottom of a drawer ready to be released in 2003, but which were never released because the band decided, meanwhile, suspend its activity and AGORA finally see the light of day. AGORA’s songs returned to the studio this year for some small tweaks and updates, but they maintain all the essence of their initial creation.

Of all the songs on the album AGORA, two stand out as exceptions: “Criatura danoite” which has a new version signed by producer Alê Siqueira and “3 minutos”, an original song that results from a partnership with Águas do Algarve, a call of attention to the sustainable use of water and which was written this year by the band.

AGORA is an album of unpretentious pop songs, with melodies and choruses that linger in the ear, solar and colourful songs that reflect a certain freshness, where there is also room for more inspired songs, with a more lunar and melancholic side, very much in the style of “Entre Aspas marked by Viviane’s unmistakable voice.

Songs that can be heard live on February 3rd at B.Leza Clube in Lisbon from 9:30 pm.
