António Mão de Ferro presents a new single with the British BJ Cole

António Mão de Ferro is back with the new single “Back”, which features the iconic guitarist BJ Cole, who has played with artists such as Elton John, David Gilmou, Roger Waters, Procol Harum, Joan Armatrading, Cat Stevens, R.E.M, Depeche Mode, among others.

With António Mão de Ferro (vocals, electric and acoustic guitar, percussions, piano, Hammond B3 and backing vocals) and BJ Cole (pedal steel guitar) are Bernardo Fesch (bass) and Julieta Mão de Ferro (backing vocals).

With music by António Mão de Ferro and lyrics in partnership with Kiko Pereira, “Back” was mastered at Abbey Road studios, in London, and, according to its author and performer, “it is a song that reflects a significant personal journey and conveys a message of resilience, resilience and hope. I put a lot of time and effort into creating a unique and immersive musical experience, featuring the very special talent of guitarist BJ Cole.”

The video, filmed on the Douro River, was directed by Paulo Ferreira, a video producer and nature photographer who has dedicated part of his life to making short documentaries around the world and who has been distinguished nationally and internationally.

Paulo Ferreira has already won two “Oscars of independent cinema”, at the international independent film festival, “Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards” in Los Angeles, in the categories of best documentary and best photographer in the “timelapse” technique, two “silver dolphins ” at the festival “Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards”, in the Nature, Environment & Ecology category and internally at the festivals “Finisterra Arrábida Film Art & Tourism Festival”, at the “Festival Internacional de Cinema de Turismo Art&Tur”, or at “Cineeco”, awards that place his career as a director on a level of excellence worldwide and unique at national level.

“Back” is the first sample of the new album that will be released later this year.
