Building The Future marks Twelfth Night with tickets for the educational community

This year, Reis Magos brings five thousand hits to the main Portuguese event of digital transformation

To mark the Twelfth Night, Building The Future, the main Portuguese event of digital transformation, which will take place on January 26, 27 and 28, 2022, will provide a total of five thousand free accesses for the entire educational community.

With more than 170 sessions, 330 national and international speakers, where more than 60 hours of content will be shared, the event offers, for the second consecutive year, tickets to students and teachers with the aim of stimulating reflection on teaching models, taking into account the learning experience in the future, as well as responding to the current needs of students, teachers and respective institutions.

Sandra Martinho, Director of Education and Philanthropy at Microsoft Portugal, says “the last two years have shown us a great need for adaptation and change, whether in the way of living, working or, in this case, teaching and learning. Taking into account the relevance of the educational community for Building The Future, and in the context of the necessary digital transformation of Education, we want to appeal to the participation of Portuguese teachers and students. We believe it will be a unique opportunity for us to reimagine learning experiences and the role of technology together for more universal and inclusive education.

Impact of Digital Transformation on Education

Highlighted in this 4th edition will be EduDay, the day exclusively dedicated to Education and Technology, scheduled for January 28, with the participation of personalities related to the theme, such as David Simas, CEO of the Obama Foundation, and Alexa Joyce, Digital Transformation & Skills Director at Microsoft, who will enrich the debate at the event.

Throughout this day, it is intended to consolidate past learnings, concretize the present and look to the future of Education, bringing to debate the digital transformation in this area, in order to respond to the current needs of this community, focusing on the three main pillars: Universal and Inclusive Education, Lifelong Learning and Technology at the Service of Education.

Initiative in partnership with José Neves Foundation

For the second consecutive year, Fundação José Neves will be highlighted with its participation and curatorship in the various panels of the event, namely in the demonstration of Brighter Future, the most comprehensive knowledge visualization tool on employment, education and skills in Portugal, and a moment dedicated to parents and families, with the aim of promoting lifelong learning.

In this edition, Fundação José Neves will bring names such as António Murta, Managing Partner, co-founder and CEO of Pathena, José Neves, CEO of Farfetch & Founder of Fundação José Neves and Carlos Oliveira, Co-founder and Executive President of Fundação José Neves.
