Fado singer Catarina Rocha is already preparing her new album that will succeed “VIDA”, and until it becomes available to the public, we present another single – “Renascer”, which will have digital edition on January 29th.
“Renascer” has music by Manuel Graça Pereira and lyrics by Paulo Abreu Lima, whom Catarina Rocha wishes to honor.
While choosing the poems for the album VIDA, the fado singer already had in mind the themes that she would like to address. It was her wish that VIDA portrayed experiences, feelings, sensations, anxieties and joys…. And so “Renascer” was born, in which Paulo Abreu Lima put all his art at the request of Catarina Rocha.
The purpose of the letter would be to address a recurring issue in relationships between couples who love each other, where divergences exist and are constant. The fact that they are people with divergent tastes and opinions, that they like different things…. and that sometimes drives them away. To be reborn, reflects the life of someone who loves to go out, dance, have fun, be with friends, but his partner is precisely the opposite, more withdrawn, modest, discordant in this regard.
