Dona Uva ice cream returns this summer to Geladaria Pascoalini, in Santarém, with a limited edition of three flavours: white grapes, red grapes, and pink grapes. The novelty is that, in addition to Santarém, the artisanal ice cream will also be on sale at Terroir Almeirim.
This initiative celebrates the table grape harvest season and combines the natural sweetness of Dona Uva grapes, produced in the Ribatejo and Oeste region, with the experience of the Pascoalini ice cream parlor, known for its exclusive creations produced with Portuguese products.
Dona Uva won, for the third consecutive year, the Five Star Award in the Fruit category. The table grape brand 100% produced in Portugal obtained a final classification of 79.4%, the highest since 2019, the year in which it competed for this award for the first time.
The first Dona Uva grapes are being harvested in the Oeste and Ribatejo regions and are already on sale in national retail. Frutamente, the Producers’ Organization that owns the Dona Uva brand, estimates a production of three million kilos of grapes.
