The home team got ahead early on the scoreboard, through Luis Díaz, in the fourth minute, but Moreirense still reacted and equalized in the 20′, by Fábio Abreu, with the two teams equalized at the interval.
In just ten minutes FC Porto scored three goals. Otávio made it 2-1 following an insistent play, Alex Telles made it 3-1 with a penalty, and Moussa Marega made it 3-1 thanks to an excellent free-kick.
At 78, Soares also took the opportunity to increase the score. On 88′, a new combination between the strikers ended with Soares’ second goal.
With this victory, FC Porto further strengthens the championship leadership, reaching 82 points, 11 more than Benfica, who on Tuesday play at the home of the already relegated Aves, while Moreirense maintains eighth place, with 43 points.
