The festival kicks off on October 9th with a concert by Pedro Moreira Sax Ensemble, who will present live the album ‘Two Maybe More’, released in February this year. For the following day, the performance of the Paula Sousa Trio is scheduled. These two concerts are scheduled for 17:00 and will take place at Largo de Santa Marinha.
‘O Jazz tem Voz!’ continues on October 15, at 9 pm, with the Matosinhos Jazz Orchestra, which will have pianist João Paulo Esteves da Silva as a guest.
On October 16th, the festival starts at 11:00 am with a concert for families from the Gerajazz Orchestra. On the same day, at 9 pm, the Mário Laginha Trio will perform, which will have singer Maria João as a guest.
The last day of the festival, October 17th, begins with a concert for families, commented by Isabel Rato Quinteto, at 11:00 am.
The end of the 2nd edition of ‘O Jazz tem Voz!’, at 6 pm, is the responsibility of the Duplex project, which brings together accordionist João Barradas and saxophonist Ricardo Toscano.
On October 15, 16 and 17, the concerts will take place at Voz do Operário.
