“Stay With Me Tonight” at Tivoli starting October 2nd
Absolute premiere in Portugal
Miguel Falabella and Marisa Orth are the protagonists of this play that opens at the Teatro Tivoli BBVA in Lisbon. It is the first time that the Brazilian duo acts together in Portugal.
From October until December, Miguel Falabella and Marisa Orth will be on stage with the play “Stay With Me Tonight.” With a script by Flávio de Souza and direction by Bruno Guida, this production brings to the stage a whirlwind of emotions that invade a widow during her husband’s wake, who leaves unexpectedly.
That night, after visits from friends and family, the husband goes from being a spectator to an intervener and quickly decides to question his wife: misunderstandings are resolved, betrayals are forgiven, and vows of love are renewed before the departure for eternal life.
The fun comedy from Plano 6 kicks off in Lisbon at Teatro Tivoli BBVA on October 2nd, running for a month, with performances from Wednesday to Sunday. The play will head north, presenting from November 6th to 17th at Teatro Sá da Bandeira in Porto.
In its absolute premiere in Portugal, “Stay With Me Tonight” will also be staged at Teatro Aveirense from November 21st to 24th; and at the Centro de Artes e Espectáculos (CAE) in Figueira da Foz from November 27th to December 1st; and will also be at Cine-Teatro Garrett in Póvoa do Varzim on December 3rd and 4th, as well as Teatro José Lúcio da Silva in Leiria from December 5th to 8th.
The tour of Miguel Falabella and Marisa Orth ends in Invicta, where they will present “Stay With Me Tonight” again at Teatro Sá da Bandeira from December 12th to 15th.
