The film “Vitalina Varela”, by Portuguese director Pedro Costa, whose main actress is Cabo Verdean Vitalina Varela, is among the 10 best films of the year elected by the American men’s magazine Esquire.
In a list of 40 feature films released by Esquire magazine, which Inforpress had access to today, the film by the Portuguese director is in ninth position, in a selection made by New York writer and film critic Nick Schager, who chooses the best works premiered this year, so far, on the big screen.
