Fisher the new confirmation of Super Bock Super Rock
July 18th, 19th and 20th at Herdade do Cabeço da Flauta, Meco – Sesimbra
On the 18th, 19th and 20th of July, Super Bock Super Rock will once again offer an eclectic lineup, where there is space for rock, hip-hop and also some of the best electronic music on the planet, particularly at the end of each day of the Super Bock Stage.
Paul Fisher was born and raised on the Gold Coast of Australia, where he prepared for a career in surfing for several years. This love for the sea remained forever, but music ended up appearing in his life, also with great force. He always liked going to parties and in 2005 he was encouraged to participate in these parties more actively, bringing music and entertaining the public. Despite these first steps, things only started to get more serious in 2011. First he was part of the Cut Snake project, alongside producer and surfer Leigh Sedley.
This support was essential for FISHER to gain the confidence necessary to embark on a solo career. And that’s exactly what happened from 2017 onwards, with the release of several singles that showed their enormous potential: “Ya Kidding”, “Stop It” and “Ya Didn’t”, all released by Dirtybird, were some of these hits . In 2018 he released “Losing It”, which is still one of his biggest hits today, this time via Catch & Release.
The track reached number one on the Australian Club Tracks chart and was heard by millions of people on YouTube. “You Little Beauty”, released in 2019, followed the same path of popularity. FISHER transmits a feeling of lightness to the public, with the main objective of having fun and making people dance, without great pretensions and always at the service of each dance floor.
In addition to his obvious skills as a producer, FISHER is known for the energetic way he guides each set, thus becoming one of the most sought-after artists in the world of electronic music, with constant presence at the biggest festivals on the planet. More recent hits like “Atmosphere” (reached 3 million streams on Spotify in the first week alone…) or “Take It Off” show FISHER’s good form and anticipate a great performance at this year’s Super Bock Super Rock. The producer and DJ performs on July 20th, at the Super Bock Stage.
