Hailee Steinfeld, multi-platinum pop singer, songwriter and Oscar-nominated actress, has just released the long-awaited video for her single “Coast” (feat. Anderson .Paak). Filmed in California as a tribute to both artists’ roots, Anderson .Paak also directed the video, in which we see Hailee daydreaming about a psychedelic surfing competition in which she and Anderson appear as the main performers.
The song “Coast” was met with high praise by critics, notably from Rolling Stone magazine, who described “Coast” as a “vibey, electric guitar pop” song.
