ISEG was chosen by AICEP to prepare graduates for the international INOVCONTACTO program

This year, ISEG hosts the opening event for the 24th edition of INOV Contacto, an international internship program, coordinated by AICEP and supported by the European Union.

[dropcap type=”background”]T[/dropcap]he starts of this initiative is scheduled for 27 to 30 January, with the Welcoming Seminar on International Practices, a reference event for professionals at the beginning of their careers.

ISEG’s DNA is made up of initiatives that support young people to seek international challenges and that gives them the tools to take an active role in society. In addition to the usual Career Management panels, I highlight the sessions around the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a central theme for ISEG ”, explains Professor Clara Raposo, President of ISEG.

200 young graduates will be present, who will receive, for four days, intensive training developed by ISEG teachers, addressing topics such as the future of organizations, leadership skills, entrepreneurship, personal marketing, among other topics, in order to prepare them for six months of an internship abroad.

The opening of the event will be attended by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Rita Baptista Marques, Professor Ana Morais, Vice President of ISEG, and President of AICEP, Luís Castro Henriques. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Augusto Santos Silva, the President of Tourism of Portugal, Luís Araújo and the President of ISEG, Professor Clara Raposo, will be present on the 30th of January.

The international internship program INOV Contacto won the European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) in 2019 and was distinguished by the European Commission as one of the three projects that best contribute to the enrichment of skills for entrepreneurship.
