Divided into two sessions per day, yesterday, November 2nd, we can see Eddie Chacon + Ana Frango Elétrico + Romeu Bairos on stage in the first session and in the second Only Fire + AndréMariño, Lainx & Phaser (Popper DJs).

The first to enter the stage was Romeu Bairos, who quickly had the audience singing with him, this Azorean, from Furnas, presented his new project focused on a contemporary interpretation of traditional Azorean songs, he also included a version he made for his students, from the song “Para Ti Maria” by Xutos e Pontapés.

This was followed by Eddie Chacon and his fantastic R&B, the American from Oakland, California, quickly won over the entire public, many whispered among the public, “I didn’t know it but it’s excellent”, so those who didn’t know it became fans during the concert.

After 30 years from music, he returned in 2020 with the album Pleasure, Joy and Happiness, which featured the collaboration of John Carroll Kirby, one of the most recognized producers on the R&B scene. At Musicbox he presented his most recent album Sundown, published by Stones Throw Records.

The reception couldn’t have been better, with many compatriots in the room, who didn’t want to miss the opportunity to hear it, accompanied by many Portuguese, who cheered with each song.
