MSC Cruises is CONSUMER’S CHOICE for the 3rd consecutive year!

MSC Cruises has received, for the third consecutive year, the “Consumer Choice 2020” distinction in the “Cruises” category by ConsumerChoice – Consumer Satisfaction Assessment Center. The award ceremony took place at the Capitólio, in Lisbon, on the 9th of January, and was attended by the Marketing Director of MSC Cruises, Inês Chuva.

This distinction demonstrates, once again, MSC Cruises’ commitment to elevating the cruise experience, making it unique and unforgettable. The company has been working continuously to make each traveler experience even better, with innovation and sustainability as the fundamental pillars.

In this edition, around 20 thousand consumers were involved in more than 132 thousand evaluations from different sectors, with MSC Cruzeiros being the most voted brand in the ‘Cruises’ category, among the five that were evaluated. With a global satisfaction index of 86.95%, 1.35% more than in the previous year, MSC Cruises, in addition to being distinguished as the ‘Consumer Choice’, is now part of the TOP 25 of the brands preferred by the Portuguese.

With regard to the most valued attributes that make consumers prefer MSC Cruises for an unforgettable holiday, Comfort (90%), Safety (88.8%), the possibility of ‘All-Inclusive’ stand out (87.5%), friendly and professional service (87.5%) and detailed information (87.5%).

Consumer Choice 2020 rewards brands, based on their performance in 2019, through a process that involves the identification of the most important attributes for consumers and an effective assessment of the brands in each category, allowing to gauge which ones have the highest levels satisfaction and purchase intention or recommendation. This is the number 1 brand assessment system in Portugal, leading all indexes (notoriety, credibility, exemption and transparency and motivation to purchase) among Portuguese consumers with 90% notoriety.
