Citroën announced the Citroën Ami and the vehicle, which does not even need a driving license, arrives this month.
AMI is Citroën’s answer to its new mobility needs, for short trips and environmental concerns. It is an unconventional concept, 2 seats, 100% electric, ultra-compact, comfortable and customizable.
It’s accessible to everyone at any time: you don’t have to be 18 to drive, with ultra-competitive offers for a minute, a day, a week, a month, or a year.
The Ami is a very small vehicle, as it only measures 2.41 m in length. The total weight, including the battery, is 485 kg. Note that this vehicle cannot be driven on motorways.
The autonomy is 70 kilometers thanks to the 5.5 kWh battery. Charging can be done in a domestic outlet and takes three hours to fully charge.
