Noiserv presents is new album in Lisbon

Noiserv, David Santos, was at the Tivoli BBVA to present his latest work, the multi-instrumentalist performed with his one-man band, but who was very well accompanied in a room full, even if in some of the chair’s have a paper figure, but in the dark of the room, this figure made us return to the full rooms of 2019.

“Uma Palavra Começada Por N” is Noiserv’s new album now entirely in Portuguese, after “One Hundred miles from thoughtlessness” in 2008 and “A day in the day of the days” in 2010, that was very cherished by the public and by criticizes, “Almost Visible Orchestra”, which was distinguished as the best album of 2013 by Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores, and the long-running “00: 00: 00: 00” of 2016.

The Lisbon musician took us on a journey through his songs from the new album but also through his previous albums, varying between synthesizers, guitar, concertina or megaphone, with all the instruments concentrated inside a cube, illuminated, where he “draw” the compositions to the delight of the audience that surrendered to his music.

Sometimes stopping in the middle, to start the music again, for having missed a part of the song, because perfectionist Noiserv wanted the audience to hear the composition correctly. Moments that the author made a fun moment at the concert, that was a super relaxed concert, whit the musician interacting with the audience.

The concert that took place on Friday, the eve of the first weekend with confinement starting at 1 pm, and that closed the country, including culture, again showed that culture is safe, once again the team from Tivoli BBVA, was fantastic to meet and enforce all safety standards.

Although the concert was excellent, it would have to come to an end, despite the suggestion that we should continue until 5 am, an idea welcomed with a general laugh in this room full of good music and good mood.

Noiserv thanked the public who attended despite the pandemic that dominates our lives at this time, but also the sound, light, video, editing technicians, promotion and Força de Produção, Tivoli, Antena 3 and RTP.
