The Festival’s artistic program proposes more than 50 concerts spread across seven emblematic rooms in Cais do Sodré. Margarida Campelo, Papillon, bbb hairdryer, Julia Mestre, Getúlio Abelha, Ana Lua Caiano, Glockenwise and João Borsch are some of the more than fifty national and international names that will attend MIL Lisboa.
Divided into four thematic areas – Music Industry, Cultural Policies, Night Economy and Accessibility, Sustainability and Ethics – the full MIL Convention program has also been revealed and features names such as Carminho, Kelman Duran, DJ Marfox, Bia Ferreira and Niño from Elche, joined by representatives of various festivals, concert halls, publishers, producers, agencies and institutions from all over the world. In total, more than five hundred professionals will visit the Hub Criativo in Beato, on the 27th, 28th and 29th of September, which for three days will be the meeting point for the music industry and the cultural sector.
MIL is dedicated to the discovery, promotion, appreciation and internationalization of current popular music and to reflection on cultural policies and practices. The project takes the form of a music festival, convention, academy, artistic residency, international circulation training and magazine, anticipating trends and provoking debate on issues that determine the future of the music and culture sectors.
