Portugal beat Hungary in the qualifiers for the European volleyball championship
In Budapest, where the first of two qualifying tournaments took place, the second will take place in Matosinhos, next week.
Portugal beat hosts Hungary by the partials of 25-21, 25-16 and 25-21 on the last day of the group in the first tournament, which also includes Belarus and Norway, teams that the Portuguese team also beat.
The winners of the seven qualifying groups in this second qualifying round and the five best runners-up will qualify for the final round of the European Championship, organized by Poland, the Czech Republic, Estonia and Finland.
The 12 teams selected will join the four organizers and eight other teams already qualified according to the final classification of the 2019 European Championship, in which Portugal finished in 20th place.
