Rangel launches ‘Connecting Africa’ groupage service
Rangel Logistics Solutions (RLS) recently announced the launch of the “Connecting Africa” service, a solution dedicated to Inland imports with a Southern Africa connection point, with a gateway in Cape Town, Durban or Johannesburg and destined for member countries Southern African Development Community (SADC).
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he RLS thus creates an alternative that allows responding to the needs of the African continent, by providing an air and sea groupage service from anywhere in the world, via Portugal, destined for countries that are members of that integration zone.
“The new service is supported by specialized teams to deal with end-to-end road, sea and air logistics solutions, including import and export dispatches”, emphasizes Mário Silva, Country Manager Air & Sea Freight at Rangel Logistics Solutions.
The company guarantees that the main advantages of this new service are transit time, which can vary from 1 to 14 days, depending on the destination, and be an alternative to import difficulties due to the contingencies caused by the current pandemic.
Connecting Africa offers biweekly departures from Lisbon and Porto, distribution in all provinces of Angola, group ground service with door-to-door delivery, supervision and operational coordination at the origin and destination of the cargo.
