A fruit salad of synthesizers of various flavours, sprinkled with funky guitars and basses, in a syrup of beats, is the motto for Reino da Fruta, which has just released “Hulala” in collaboration with Femme Falafel, and which appears in anticipation of its Debut EP, scheduled for release on March 1st.
After the duo of João Abelaira Nascimento, aka Doctor Mabooze, and Gonçalo Costa presented themselves to the public with the song “Ganso Preto”, the Lisbon delicacy that dances between electro and house, disco and pop, “to be served before, during or after a meal”, advances to his second single in a danceable and contagious reflection on “symbiotic organisms, ultra-reptilian emotions and geological encounters with mineral nobility”.
“Hulala”, like “Ganso Preto” and the future EP, was produced with the help of Filipe Paes (Sequin, Whosputo) and mastered by Luís Lucena.
The track and the visualizer that accompanies it, directed, recorded and edited by Inês Matias, are now available on all digital platforms.

Reino da Fruta – Biography
A fruit salad of synthesizers of various flavours, sprinkled with funky guitars and basses, in a syrup of beats.
“To be served before, during or after the meal”, Reino da Fruta is a synthpop band that dances between electro and house, disco and pop, and a delicacy from Lisbon that began to be imagined and prepared in 2022 by João Abelaira Nascimento, aka Doctor Mabooze, musician and producer with participation in projects such as: Pongo, Niki Moss, Sequin, JP Simões, André Henriques, Melquiades, Quartoquarto – and Gonçalo Costa, vocalist, guitarist and mentor of Sevilha Red.
With very characteristic influences from French electronica, such as Daft Punk and Justice, or R’n’B and Funk, such as Tim Maia and Louis Cole, Black Sabbath and Late of the Pier, Reino da Fruta presents itself as a distinct mix of different aromas.
