A group of students from the Professional Technical Sport Course of the José Belchior Viegas School Group of São Brás de Alportel is building playful and sporting spaces in the preschools and schools of the 1st cycle of the municipality, namely a circuit of equipment and motricity circuits childish.
The project, coordinated by Professor Pedro Janeiro, is based on the appreciation and development of children’s motor skills and is being developed with the support of the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel.
Contribute to the promotion and creation of better conditions for diversified sports practice, inducing healthy habits along with promoting children’s freedom to play are also objectives of this initiative, developed at a time when it is considered more and more urgent to reduce use excessive use of new technologies, especially in the younger sections of the population.
This project for the construction of the children’s equipment circuit for motor development had the support of municipal technicians and an investment by the municipality in the order of 2,000.00 euros.
Committed to education and sport, the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel continues, in close coordination with the José Belchior Viegas School Group, to prioritize the needs and interventions to be carried out in the various school facilities in the municipality.
