TAAG wins FILDA 2024 Golden Lion in the transport and logistics category

The 39th edition of FILDA (Luanda International Fair) took place from the 23rd to the 28th of July in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE), in an initiative of the Government of Angola, promoted by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.

Following its participation as an exhibitor at the Luanda International Fair, TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola was awarded the prestigious FILDA 2024 Golden Lion award in the Best Transport and Logistics Participation category. The awards ceremony took place on Saturday, July 27, in a gala that brought together institutional entities, exhibitors and personalities from Angolan society.

For this edition of the event, TAAG invested in a different concept, having designed its exhibition stand in the shape of an aircraft, replicating the onboard environment, in-flight materials for premium and economy classes, check-in areas, boarding areas /passenger disembarkation, as well as a permanent customer service point, with TAAG services accessible via the website. The Company also provided a flight simulator, which provided stand visitors with a unique cockpit experience, with the opportunity to fly an aircraft and receive an introduction to basic flight controls.

The Golden Lion award was received by the President of the Board of Directors of TAAG, António dos Santos Domingos, in an event that established the flagship company as the best participant in FILDA, among entities in the Transport and Logistics sector. The Luanda International Fair is the largest business exchange in Angola and an event of international dimension, capitalized by TAAG to promote its brand, and network of destinations and reinforce institutional relationships with multiple partners.
