The Lisbon Machine Learning School was created for researchers, university students, computer scientists and professionals in the sector who are interested in statistics and machine learning and this year, due to the COVID-10 pandemic, it will be completely virtual.
Between July 21st and 29th, from the Instituto Superior Técnico, in Lisbon, several lectures and activities were prepared.
The themes will be promoted by more than a dozen invited speakers from the USA, Spain and other European countries, as well as Portuguese, from representatives of the Telecommunications Institute, to Google Inc. USA, Google DeepMind UK and Carnegie Mellon Universities , Washington, Fudan, among others.
In addition to IST, in its 10th edition, LxMLS 2020 also has organizers such as the Telecommunications Institute, the Institute of Systems and Computers Engineering, Research and Development in Lisbon (INESC-ID), Unbabel, Priberam Labs and Cleverly , which will also be represented.
