On the 30th of August, the Ensemble – Sociedade de Actores premieres the music and theater show, TRIEDRO + ACTORES, at the Novo Ático do Coliseu Porto Ageas, at 8 pm.
The musicians of TRIEDRO (a trio that presents contemporary, improvised music and consists of Ricardo Pinto on piano, Frederic Cardoso on clarinets, and Paulo Costa on percussion), are joined by actors João Paulo Costa, Jorge Pinto, António Parra, and Rafael Silva. The texts are by Álvaro Garcia de Zúñiga and Francisco Luís Parreira. Jorge Pinto is responsible for staging and scenography.
The languages of music and theater are enmeshed in an exercise of stories, memories, moods, and abstractions. It is a substantially sound show, provocative, fun, disturbing, and inspiring.
The house of actor Raul Damásio is inhabited by spirits. They are provocateurs, musicians, and actors, of the most far-fetched concerns, questions, and illusions. They are creatures, creatives, and creators in search of creation.
This show questions the artist’s creative process – and the form of performative dialogue between these processes in theater and music.
TRIEDRO + ACTORES will be on stage until September 9th (Wednesday to Saturday), always at 8 pm.
