Voyager Space Station will have artificial gravity and begins construction in 2025

Orbital Assembly Corporation (OAC) has recently revealed new details about its ambitious Voyager Station. This is designed to be the first commercial space station to operate with artificial gravity.

OAC, a company focused on the colonization of space, has already developed marketing to attract investors, partners and enthusiastic tourists to one day book a room on board the rotating Voyager Station.

Before Voyager Station begins to accommodate guests, OAC needs to test the construction of a station in low Earth orbit and prove the viability of stable artificial gravity in space.

The company plans to build a prototype gravity ring that will measure 61 meters in diameter and will be designed to rotate. This test is essential to create artificial gravity close to the level of Mars, which is about 40% of Earth.

In the future, government and private companies will be allowed to use Voyager modules for lunar training missions and beyond. Thus, these technologies may provide a launching pad for entrepreneurs to develop and commercialize tourism activities in space.
