Xpand IT organizes debate on the present and future of Integration in Portugal
Xpand IT, a Portuguese technology company specializing in Big Data, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Data Science, Middleware, CRM, Digital Xperience, and Collaboration Solutions, promotes, on April 29, from 10 am to 11 am, a session on the concept of middleware and the importance of integration at the business level.
The event has the participation of NOS, Sonae Sierra, Credibom and the University of Aveiro. Registration is free and is now open.
Today, businesses depend to a large extent on digital, which makes integration take on an increasingly important role. The concept of ‘middleware’ is thus present in all organizations. Thinking about it, Xpand IT organizes a session focused on integration and how it should work 100% between the various partners, software, applications or systems, through the support of a robust and scalable architecture.
The session aims to explore the challenges experienced during 2020, the solutions found, as well as to look for ways for the future of integration in Portugal for 2021. The event “The present and future of Integration in Portugal” will have as speakers Francisco Costa (Partner & Enterprise Solutions Lead at Xpand IT), Nuno Santos (Enterprise Solutions Manager at Xpand IT), Carlos Nunes (IT Coordinator at Sonae Sierra), Cláudio Teixeira (Service Director at the University of Aveiro), João Mendes (Head of Architecture at Credibom) and Frederico Carvalho (Manager of Data Team and Developers Team at NOS).
“The pandemic has caused several changes in our lives and also in the activities of organizations. Today, the relevance of digital is undeniable and it is essential that companies bet on an integration strategy, with a solid architecture between the various components, so that nothing in business fails”, says Francisco Costa.
“This event is therefore intended to address integration and how it can impact companies, but also the ecosystem itself, in an open conversation, with relevant companies in the Portuguese business landscape, on an increasingly relevant topic”.
