Bispo replaces Wiz Khalifa

13º Sumol Summer Fest

Wiz Khalifa’s concert, scheduled for the second night of Sumol Summer Fest, is canceled due to the artist’s health problems, which also force the cancellation of the remaining European tour.

Day ticket holders who wish to receive a refund can do so until July 1, 2023, at 3 pm, at the same place where they were purchased, upon presentation of a valid ticket and proof of payment.

The Portuguese artist Bispo is the new confirmation of Sumol Summer Fest, on July 1st. In this way, Bishop’s performance is scheduled for 01:00 on the second day of the festival. The remaining programming remains unchanged.

Bispo

From Mem Martins to the whole country, Bispo has gradually conquered his space, since in 2003 he decided to take music more seriously, working to be one of the most relevant names in Portuguese hip hop. After the mixtapes “Recomeço” and “Passo a Passo”, Bispo released “Bispoterapia” in 2014, an EP in collaboration with producer “Intakto”. A year later came the long-awaited first album of originals, “Desde an Origin”, which had the participation of two big names in Portuguese hip hop: Sam the Kid and Maze (Dealema). Success was inevitable, which resulted in sold records, more concerts, and new collaborations. And one of those collaborations was with Fumaxa, with whom he edited the EP “Fora D’Horas”, one of the highlights of Portuguese hip hop in 2017. That record revealed a Bishop at the top of his abilities, something that would be confirmed with the release of “NÓS2”, a single that exploded on the radio in 2018 and served as an appetizer for what was coming from the Mem Martins rapper. Today, there is no longer any doubt that Bispo is one of the certainties of national hip-hop, after numerous successes such as “Essa Saia” with Ivandro, “Monarquia” with Diogo Piçarra, and the recently released “Planeta” with Eom Bárbara Tinoco, a single already reached millions of views and reached all the tops in Portugal. It is an increasingly mature artist who will step onto the Sumol Stage, on the first day of July, for yet another edition of Sumol Summer Fest.
