Literary Revelation Award UCCLA-CMLISBOA
Applications extended until 8 December 2024
The applications for the tenth edition of the UCCLA-CMLisboa Literary Revelation Award – New Talents, New Works in the Portuguese Language were extended until 8 December 2024.
The UCCLA-CMLisboa Literary Revelation Prize aims to stimulate the production of literary works in the fields of fiction prose (romance, novel, short story and chronicle) and poetry in Portuguese, for writers who have never published a literary work and who seek an opportunity to visibility and recognition in the literary scene.
Applications are accepted from individuals of any nationality, fluent in the Portuguese language, and aged at least 16 years. In the case of children under 18, the award of prizes will be subject to the delivery of a declaration of acceptance by the respective holders of parental authority.
Participation in this initiative must be made by 24:00 on 08-12-2024, by e-mail to premioliterario@uccla.pt as provided for in the Regulation.
This award was created in 2015, together with the Movement (2014) 800 Years of the Portuguese Language. In 2020, two partnerships were established: one with the publisher Guerra e Paz, who will be responsible for editing the award-winning work, and another with the Lisbon City Council, within the framework of the 5L Lisbon Literary Festival.
