Building the Future starts today

For the first time in a 100% digital format, Building the Future opened with the intervention of André de Aragão Azevedo, Secretary of State for Digital Transition at the Ministry of Economy and Digital Transition.

The afternoon part of the event will feature the opening of Vanda de Jesus, Executive Director of Portugal Digital, at 2 pm, on the Main Stage.

“It is gratifying, after three editions, to see the scale that this event has won, which at this moment can be called a true movement, an ecosystem of companies that came together to create a digital agenda for the transformation of our country”, said André by Aragão Azevedo, Secretary of State for Digital Transition, Ministry of Economy and Digital Transition.

The official also pointed out that “2020 was indeed a year of strong acceleration in what is the transition from our companies to digital”, adding that “companies are in fact made by people and for people (…)”.

For three days, from 26 to 28 January, we will Activate Portugal and re-imagine a better future with topics ranging from Sustainability, Innovation, Trust, Data, Industry, Health, Skilling to Education.
