Chef Elísio Bernardes national ambassador for Chefs Sans Frontieres

After a 2021 full of great challenges and important international distinctions, Chef Elísio Bernardes has just been confirmed as Ambassador of the Chefs Sans Frontieres organization in the national territory.

Chefs Sans Frontieres (CSF), a solidarity organization created in January 2022 by Chef Alan Coxon, has just confirmed Elísio Bernardes (Executive Chef of the Meliá Braga Hotel & Spa and chef of the High-Performance Food Department at Sporting Clube de Braga) as Ambassador of the organization to Portugal.

CSF, known as “Chef Sans Frontieres”, was born with the purpose of raising funds to support small producers and farmers who lost their livelihoods and businesses caused by uncontrollable traumas and natural disasters.

The objective is to support, rebuild the lives and businesses of local producers of regional food and drinks, maintaining the cultural skills and traditions that contribute to regional gastronomy around the world.
