Lina and Raül Refree start European tour in May
On May 25, the Portuguese-Spanish duo receives the Carlos do Carmo Prize, instituted by the Portuguese Society of Authors (SPA), which distinguished the best album for 2020.
Internationally released in January last year, the album recreates songs celebrated by Amália Rodrigues, such as “Barco Negro”, “Foi Deus”, “Ave Maria Fadista”, “Fear” or “Gaivota”, with new musical arrangements by Raül Refree.
Before receiving the award, in Lisbon, Lina and Raül Refree will perform on May 12th at Sala Cents, in Barcelona, going to Madrid, where they will perform on the 14th at Teatro Circo Price.

In July, on the 23rd, the duo performed in Policka, at the Color Meeting Festival, in the Bohemian region, in the Czech Republic, and, four days later, on July 27th, they took the stage of the Music of the World Festival, in Sines.
Continuing through Portugal, on August 13, Lina and Raül Refree play in the gardens of the Palácio de Cristal, in Porto.
On the 20th of September, the musicians are in Slovenia, where they perform in Cankarvej, in Ljubljana.
Lina and Raül Refree also have concerts postponed, due to the covid-19 pandemic, namely one in Brussels, in the Ancienne Belgique room, and four others in France, which are scheduled to take place next year.
In this series by Gallic lands, Lina and Raül Refree are to work in Montauban, 55 kilometers north of Toulouse, in Tréguier, 500 kilometers west of Paris, and in Bezons, île-de-France and Montbeliard, about 400 kilometers southeast of Paris.
