Matay returns with Eu Espera, his most recent single, to be released this Friday, March 3rd.
The follow-up single to BYE BYE (2021) has music, lyrics, and production by AGIR and portrays a “poetically tearing pain that hurts our guts”, according to Matay. The lyrics revolve around the discovery that it is only possible to be “home” to someone else when we learn to care.
Matay reached the final of the Festival RTP da Canção in 2019, where he performed Perfeito, theme with lyrics by Boss AC and music by Tiago Machado. In 2015, the hit Dizer Que Não was released, in which the singer collaborates with Dengaz and in 2017 Matay released his first single, O Que Tu Dás, which has more than 20 million views on Youtube.
This Friday, Matay will show us Eu Espera, a single from his first album, to be released this year.
