Oswaldo Montenegro packed the Estoril Casino to celebrate “50 Years on the Road”
With a packed Black and Silver Hall, Oswaldo Montenegro celebrated “50 Years on the Road,” inviting the audience to relive the countless hits of his career.
After a 43-year absence, the renowned Brazilian musician, composer, and singer returned to Portugal to perform a memorable concert at the Estoril Casino.
“Bandolins,” “A Lista,” “Lua e Flor,” “Intuição,” and “Lembrei de Nós” were just some of the iconic compositions featured in a show that enchanted an audience spanning generations of fans.
Oswaldo Montenegro performed the biggest hits from the album Menestrel, including “Se Puder Sem Medo,” “Por Brilho,” “Aquela Coisa Toda,” “Pra Longe do Paranoá,” “Léo e Bia,” “Agonia,” and “Ao Nosso Filho, Morena.”
The Rio de Janeiro musician played more than one instrument simultaneously, demonstrating his mastery live on 6- and 12-string guitars, as well as on the piano, with a versatility of moments and images projected on stage.
To the audience’s applause, Oswaldo Montenegro was accompanied on stage for two hours by his longtime partner, Madalena Salles, and multi-instrumentalist Alexandre Meu Rei.
