Pedro Pichardo wins the triple jump at the Diamond League final
After winning gold at the Olympic Games, Pedro Pablo Pichardo closed the season in the best possible way, winning the final of the Diamond League, in Zurich, Switzerland.
The Portuguese triple jumper achieved the best jump in the sixth and final attempt, with 17.70 meters, beating by a large margin Fabrice Zango (17.20) and Algerian Mohamed Triki (17.03), who closed the podium. The Portuguese Tiago Pereira was ranked fifth, with a mark of 16.61.
