The 5th edition of Porto Blues Fest will take place on the 29th and 30th of July 2022, on the stage of the acoustic shell in the gardens of Palácio de Cristal.
A few weeks ago, Porto Blues Fest announced the return to Portugal of the mythical English band Dr. Feelgood. The rest of the lineup is divided between the 29th and 30th of July and between Portugal, Spain, England, Brazil, and the United States of America.
July 29th

21:30 – Peter Storm & The Blues Society (Portugal)
23:00 – Janice Harrington (USA)
July 30th
18:30 – The Smokestackers (Portugal)
21:30 – Alexandre da Mata & The Black Dogs (Brazil)
23:00 – Dr. Feelgood (England)
Tickets are already on sale at a daily price of €20 or €30 for the two-day pass.
Environmental concern at Porto Blues Fest:
Adalberto Ribeiro (from the promoter Trovas Soltas, one of the organizers of the festival in partnership with In Rock We Trust and Ágora – Cultura e Desporto do Porto, E.M.) tells us that “Porto Blues Fest will be a platform to raise awareness of both the public that visits it, or the population in general, for the need to ecologically rehabilitate burned, degraded or underused areas, through the adequate management of vegetation and the planting and maintenance of trees and shrubs native to the region with the aim of enriching its biodiversity, sequester carbon, improve air quality, protect their soils and contribute to a better quality of life for people. That’s why it can be summed up in one word – FUTURE. Because there is no future without trees.”
With the support of Porto Blues Fest, one hectare of the forest will be reforested. Adalberto Ribeiro states that “this was the way we found to offset the CO2 emissions produced by the festival and participate in the joint effort to achieve the goal of zero emissions. Each person who will attend the festival will also contribute to the success of this mission, by purchasing your ticket you will be contributing €1, which will be donated to our partner, FUTURO – Projeto das 100,000 trees“.
