Slipknot back to Portugal for concert at Altice Arena

The North American Slipknot will return to Portugal on August 17, for a concert at Altice Arena, in Lisbon, just over a year after having performed in that space, the organization announced today.

Corey Taylor’s band thus returns to the Lisbon stage with the album ‘We Are Not Your Kind’, knowing that, in the context of the tour, the album ‘Look Outside Your Window’, of experimental themes recorded in 2008, should be released. and that the vocalist has already said they sound “like Radiohead”.

In the first part of the concert in Lisbon will be the Polish Behemoth, who have already been confirmed as headliners of this year’s Vagos Metal Fest.

Last year, Slipknot were at Altice Arena in the context of VOA – Heavy Rock Festival, which was scheduled for Estádio do Restelo, but ended up being held in that room in Lisbon.

According to a statement from promoter Everything is New, tickets for the August 17 concert will go on sale on Saturday, with prices between 39 and 65 euros.
