The Phantom of the Opera returns in October 2025
After the great premiere in October this year, the most popular musical in the world, The Phantom of the Opera, by Andrew Lloyd Webber, returns to Sagres Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon, between 14 and 25 October 2025.
After the huge success of its first time in Portugal, with all the sessions sold out, the production promises to thrill the Portuguese public again with this unique show.

Since its debut in the West End of London in October 1986, “The Phantom of the Opera” has been one of the most watched productions ever.
Based on the novel by Gaston Leroux, “The Phantom of the Opera” takes place in 19th century Paris, where a musical genius known only as ‘The Ghost’ lurks in the depths of the Paris Opera. Mesmerized by the talents and beauty of a young soprano named Christine Daaé, The Ghost tries to lure Christine into becoming his protégé. Will she be able to resist the mystery of the Phantom of the Opera, or will she be dragged into her world of obsession, darkness and betrayal?
Broadway Entertainment Group and Everything Is New bring this production to Lisbon with the incredible cast of West End and Broadway and stunning scenery. The production features a series of 230 costumes meticulously crafted, capturing the elegance and fashion of the 1930s.
