Thiago Monteiro wins the Braga Open
Brazilian tennis player Thiago Monteiro, first seed, won the Braga Open this Sunday, a competition for the ‘Challenger Tour’, beating Serbian Nikola Milojevic in the final in straight sets.
To win the first tournament since January 2020, Monteiro, 90th in the world rankings, defeated Milojevic (148th), 7-5 and 7-5, in 2.31 hours.
This was Thiago Monteiro’s sixth title on the ‘challenger’ circuit in nine finals.
