Vila Monte Farmhouse, located in Moncarapacho (Algarve), which is part of the portfolio of hotels under the management of DHM – Discovery Hotel Management, reopens the Laranjal restaurant with a new concept and decoration.
[dropcap type=”background”]I[/dropcap]n keeping with what has been the concept of the hotel since its reopening in 2015, Restaurante Laranjal aims to become a space for reinterpreting the authentic and traditional flavours of that area of the Algarve, with inspirations from other places, the author dishes that combines simplicity with sophistication.
With this definition of the concept, it is intended that Laranjal is a space where customers can try the freshest products – all coming from the surroundings of Vila Monte, whether from the market or local producers and chosen either for their quality as seasonality. – in a unique way.
The Charter, prepared by Chef Adérito de Almeida in conjunction with Chef Daniel de Sousa, consists almost entirely of fish and seafood dishes from the Algarve coast and Ria Formosa (but where you will also find some vegetarian options and meat dishes) and was designed to make every meal a sensory experience, split between taste, sight and smell. It is a kitchen with clear Mediterranean influences, ranging from Italy to Morocco, through French cuisine.
Also new is that most dishes are cooked in the dining room – either At Ofyr or Show Cooking Station – so that the customer’s sensory experience is more complete.
Laranjal Restaurant is located in one of the three buildings of the Hotel, with predominantly Algarvian architectural features, either by its white walls, its tiled floor or the huge terrace overlooking the coast and where you can enjoy al fresco dining.
In Vila Monte is also located the À TERRA Restaurant, whose food has a more homely and rustic character.
Both restaurants are open to guests and bystanders and reservations are always advised.
