SIC Esperança launches its IRS consignment campaign and calls for contributions

SIC Esperança launches its annual IRS consignment campaign, inviting all taxpayers to participate in this noble cause.

The 0.5% IRS contribution does not imply any additional cost for taxpayers but represents a significant opportunity to support projects of great social importance. This year, SIC Esperança appeals to the generosity of the Portuguese to support projects that promote equal opportunities in access to education, combating exclusion and school dropout and ensuring that all children and young people have the possibility of reaching their full potential. From supporting programs to access school and technological materials to implementing enriching extracurricular activities, each contribution makes a difference in the lives of children and young people across the country.

SIC Esperança works closely with schools, institutions and local communities to identify and respond to the specific needs of each context, ensuring that resources are targeted in an effective and impactful way.

The 0.5% IRS allocation allows taxpayers to channel that part of the tax they would already pay to a social solidarity entity of their choice, at no additional cost. To participate, simply fill in Table 11 of Model 3 of your IRS declaration, tick the option “Social Solidarity Institutions or Public Utility Collective Persons”, and indicate the SIC Esperança taxpayer number: 506711706.

SIC Esperança reiterates its commitment to improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable people in our society and counts on the collaboration of all citizens to achieve this goal.
