ELEVEN has just guaranteed the renewal of the Ligue 1 broadcasting rights in Portugal until 2024.
The main competition of football clubs in France, as well as the Trophée des Champions, will thus continue to be broadcast entirely and exclusively on ELEVEN channels, for another 3 seasons (2021/22, 2022/23, and 2023/24 ).
With this renewal of Ligue 1 rights, ELEVEN subscribers will be able to continue to follow all matches in France’s top football club competition, for a total of 381 games per season, including the Trophée des Champions among the winners of Ligue 1 and the French Cup.
The main games will be broadcast live through the 6 channels of ELEVEN available at the Operators or through the streaming service at elevensports.pt.
For Jorge Pavão de Sousa, Managing Director of ELEVEN in Portugal, “This renewal is part of a strategy to renew and consolidate the content portfolio we currently have for Portugal. It is a new sign of confidence by our partners, namely Ligue 1, who place on us an added responsibility and extra motivation for the next years of ELEVEN’s operation in the Portuguese market. Although the context is challenging, we remain firm in our ambition to provide fans with the best of sport and a wide range of sports. The Ligue 1 Uber Eats is highly competitive and includes some of the main stars of world football, such as Neymar Jr., Kylian Mbappé, Gelson Martins, Renato Sanches and Anthony Lopes, among others, so this renewal comes naturally in line with our proposal value of ELEVEN in the national market”.
