First national web series on marine conservation
Director João Rodrigues, from the Algarve company Chimera Visuals, is inspired by the Greek god of the oceans to create the project “The House of Neptuno”, the first created in Portugal.
It will have a total of 12 episodes, released at the rate of one per month, starting in January 2021. Each episode will take about two minutes and will be accompanied by a gallery of new photos and an informative text with its own platforms created by the team.
The idea is from João Rodrigues, a graduate and master in Marine Biology, diving instructor, specialist in underwater photography and photojournalism and mentor of the Algarve company Chimera Visuals that is doing all the production.
«This web series will be dedicated to species that are at risk, vulnerable or in danger of extinction in the Portuguese sea, with a special focus on the Algarve», explains the director who has collaborated on BBC and National Geographic productions.
