The Black and Silver Room of the Estoril Casino hosts the show “Madagascar – A Musical Adventure” on November 29th at 9 PM. The Yellow Star Company presents a DreamWorks production directed by Paulo Sousa Costa.
“Madagascar – A Musical Adventure” invites the audience to join Alex, the lion, Marty, the zebra, Melman, the giraffe, Gloria, the hippopotamus, and, of course, those hilarious conspirators, the penguins!
Based on the DreamWorks animated film, “Madagascar, A Musical Adventure,” it tells the story of a group of inseparable friends who escape from their home at the Central Park Zoo in New York City and find themselves on an unexpected journey to the extravagant and crazy world of Madagascar.
Alex, the lion, is the king of the urban jungle, the main attraction of the zoo at Central Park in New York. He and his best friends – Marty, Melman, and Gloria – have spent their entire lives in captivity, happy, in front of an audience that admires them and with regular meals.
Not content with the life he had, Marty lets his curiosity get the best of him and plans a whole escape – with the help of some prodigious penguins – to explore the world.
Filled with fun and adventurous characters, Madagascar leaves the audience with no choice but to “Move It, Move It!”
