After the singles ‘Nem Desgosto do Amor’, ‘Caso Apareças Por Aqui’ and ‘Espero Que Casas Com Um Totó’, the young doctor, who decided to follow his music dream at the age of 30, edits this Friday ‘Acordem-me Quando For P’ra Cantar’, a duet with Pedro Abrunhosa. This will be the fourth single from his first album, Mitos e Nicolaus, to be released on the same day.
Abrunhosa is one of the artist’s declared inspirations, so this duet is the realization of a dream for Lanhoso. “I still don’t know if I woke up to sing or if I’m still dreaming, but I know I want to share it with you”, he says.
‘In Acordem-me Quando For P’ra Cantar’ Nuno sings with Pedro Abrunhosa about a love conflict and the desire to sleep until everything is resolved. Taking the motto, we can extrapolate to other types of everyday problems. How good would it be to sleep and only wake up “when it was time to sing“?
This record is a window into the soul of Nuno Lanhoso, maintaining the sensitivity and lyrical emotion that we were already used to in the songs he revealed. “I intend to openly expose my vulnerabilities”, in a register that, according to him, speaks mainly “of love or lack of love, I don’t really know the difference.”
