Food for Homeless brings Mercantina and the Vida e Paz Community together in a solidarity initiative
At a time when we were facing particularly difficult circumstances, the result of Covid-19, Mercantina decided to lend a hand and support the Vida e Paz Community with the ‘Food For Homeless’ campaign and support with meals.
The Vida e Paz Community is a non-profit association with the mission to support people in conditions of homelessness or social vulnerability, seeking to rebuild their life project through an integrated action of prevention, rehabilitation and reintegration.
At this time, the Community has supported an average of 530 people daily in situations of homelessness or social vulnerability. This campaign is part of the Mercantina brand Social Responsibility, which in this way intends to give impetus to other brands and restaurants that want to join and help in the best way they can.
