Written by Sabrina and her regular collaborators Amy Allen, Jack Antonoff, and John Ryan, and also co-produced by Sabrina, Jack, and John, Sabrina’s clever lyricism is on full display as she blends addictive pop melodies with a sly, bold narrative that makes each song feel like a newfound secret. Man’s Best Friend includes 12 songs, including the album’s platinum-selling lead single, “Manchild,” which debuted straight at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Manchild” was Sabrina’s second song to top the charts, following last summer’s hit “Please Please Please.” The Hollywood Reporter gushed: “The ‘Espresso’ singer is back to claim the song of the summer crown for the second year in a row with her incredibly catchy new single.” Since its release, the acclaimed music video has racked up nearly 60 million views. “Carpenter radiates a positive disco energy,” wrote Rolling Stone. Now, Sabrina closes out the summer with a pop album that’s sure to be listened to on repeat well into next year.

Man’s Best Friend is Sabrina’s seventh studio album and follows her monumental album, Short n’ Sweet. Released in August of last year, Short n’ Sweet topped music charts around the world and had one of the biggest global debuts of 2024. The album’s three singles, “Espresso” (2.4 billion streams), “Please Please Please” (1.5 billion streams), and “Taste” (1.1 billion streams), entered Spotify’s coveted Billions Club. Short n’ Sweet has sold 10 million albums globally.
